More details will be provided in the future such as times and nightly events.
Held at the Las Cruses Convention Center, the Presentation and Conference Day gives students, judges, recruiters, and the public a chance to see all of the wonderful projects. This is a fantastic chance to bring family and friends to see what this year’s students have accomplished. Teams will have their rockets with them (unarmed of course) and plenty of experiments to check out. Throughout the day students will be giving presentations on their advanced research and innovative technologies.
The second day of the Spaceport America Cup will take place at the Spaceport America Vertical launch range. Teams will have the entire day to assemble their rockets in the field and test components as needed while being judged.
Teams will be launching and recovering rockets through all three days. Spectators are welcome to come and join in on the excitement. There will be viewing areas set up and teams will be able to display their rockets after recovery.
For participants, family, friends, faculty, and media, the awards banquet will take place the night of the last launch day with dinner, music, and fun.
